Part-time Family Assistant needed for working parents and
two teenage children in Chicago, IL (Gold Coast). Family is looking to commit
to 20 hours per week (ideally Monday-Friday from 3 or 3:30-7 or 7:30) but they
are open to increasing the hours for the right person. Duties include but are
not limited to:
- Picking up from school and driving to activities as needed
- Assisting with homework
- Making light meals, snacks, and assisting with dinner prep
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- House management duties as needed, such as scheduling and managing vendor appointments and repairs
Family is looking for a responsible, reliable Assistant who
has a great attitude and is flexible as needed. Ideal candidate is flexible to
stay overnight on occasion when parents are traveling (likely 1 night per
month). Spanish speaking is a big plus (to assist with homework) but not a requirement.
Applicants must drive but family does provide a vehicle for Assistant to use while
working. Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience; start date is ASAP
