Temporary Housekeeper needed full-time for a single working professional in Chicago, IL (River North). Current Housekeeper will be out of the country for 4-6 weeks so client is looking for a Housekeeper to fill-in starting in early June. Schedule requires flexibility but on average will be 7:30 or 8am until 4 or 4:30pm. Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning, organizing, light cooking (making a salad, roast chicken, etc.). A parking space will be available for use in the building, although Housekeeper does not need to know how to drive. Hourly rate is $25-30, depending on experience. Executive Housekeeper needed for executive couple’s private residence in Chicago, IL (Gold Coast). Position is live-out and couple is open to either full-time OR part-time for the right person. If full-time, the schedule will be Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Duties include but are not limited to:
Daily deep cleaning and organizing
Laundry and ironing

Wonderful family of four is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to care for their single family home in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week (7am-3pm). Housekeeper must be child-friendly although the family has a separate full-time Nanny; candidate must also be comfortable assisting with the care of the family’s dog (a golden retriever mix) and have basic Internet skills (i.e.: ordering supplies online, using applications such as Instacart for groceries, etc.)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily deep cleaning and maintenance of the home (washing floors, scrubbing bathrooms, wiping down the kitchen, laundry, ironing, changing linens, etc.)
- Assisting with pet care as needed
- Maintaining inventory and restocking supplies when necessary
- Assisting with packing/unpacking suitcases when family travels
- Handling family’s dry cleaning (picking up/dropping off)
- Overseeing and managing vendors
- Other duties as needed, such as wrapping gifts, etc.
- Light cooking such as preparing breakfast, light snacks, salads, etc.
Executive Housekeeper should speak good English, be very detail oriented, an excellent deep cleaner, and looking to make a long-term commitment. Full-time Nanny needed to for live-in OR live-out position caring for a newborn baby in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). Couple is expecting their first baby, due in June 2017. Ideal candidate is open to a flexible schedule, as both parents work full-time and their hours can vary. Hours will be approximately 9-12 hours daily, although exact schedule will fluctuate week to week. Principals have two cats so applicants must be comfortable with pets/have no allergies. Schedule will be full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. Occasional hours may be requested for dinner parties, but not often. Ideal candidate is dedicated, energetic, outgoing, hardworking, and maintains a high level of discretion/confidentiality. Duties include but not limited to:
- Handle daily upkeep and ensure that home is impeccably maintained, cleaned, and organized; work alongside part-time Laundress/Housekeeper to keep home running smoothly
- Greet guests, vendors, and other visitors
- Seasonal organizing and cleaning projects
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, post office, dry cleaning, drugstore, etc.
