Career Nanny/Family Assistant needed for to assist single parent with the care of three school-aged children in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). Schedule will be 5 days/week, but hours are not always determined in advance so the Nanny Manager needs to be extremely flexible. The position is partial live-in/live-out as the Nanny Manager will stay overnight when the children are in residence (60% of the time) and will live-out when the children are out of residence.
Position entails extensive travel as the family travels often throughout the United States and Europe. Travel can occasionally range up to 4 weeks at a time, and may overlap on holidays. For each holiday spent with the family, the candidate will obtain two additional vacation days. When the children are not in residence, the Nanny Manager will organize the household and help to plan ahead for the family.
The family is looking for a candidate who is active as the family loves running, skiing, hiking, swimming and city exploration. Teaching experience and candidates who speak French are a plus, but are not required. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with children, have an impeccable record/background, and excellent references. TOP salary and benefits package offered.
