Professional Housekeeper needed for full-time, live-out position with a wonderful private family in Chicago, IL (Gold Coast). Schedule is 40 hours/week (typically Monday-Friday with occasional flexibility needed for nights/weekends or as needed). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Overall deep cleaning, tidying, and organizing
-Laundry and ironing (must have experience with fine, delicate fabrics and clothing; Laundress experience is a big plus but not a deal breaker!)
-Occasional errand running (groceries, dry cleaning, Target, etc.)
-Event assistance (preparing the residence, serving, cleaning, etc.) as needed
The ideal candidate is excellent with laundry and also has experience working in a high-end residence (caring for antiques, art and fine furnishings). Must have 3-5 years experience in a similar role and have excellent references. Candidate must be exceptionally organized, adaptable, have high energy and a strong work ethic. Must be a non-smoker and have a valid driver's license/own reliable vehicle (this position may require 1 day/week at the family's other residence in the north suburbs).
