Busy working parents with two children (under the age of 3) seeking a professional live-in or live-out nanny with a FLEXIBLE schedule to join their home in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. Nanny must have a college degree or background in child development/nanny training/etc. Responsibilities include transporting children to and from activities, playing games, preparing light meals and laundry for the children only, and general care while mother completes her residency and father is working full-time. Ideal candidate is mature, responsible, loving, active, and always on time. Flexibility is ideal, as the parents schedules will be more hectic than usual during the next couple of years. Family has no pets, but the nanny should be dog-friendly.
Driving is preferred but not a deal breaker, and family can provide the vehicle if necessary. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-8pm, with weekends off. Salary $45-60K, DOE, plus possible health insurance. Private bedroom and bathroom provided for live-in, along with TV and phone. Ideal start date is October 1, but family is flexible for the right candidate.
