Nanny Needed for Part-Time Position with Full-Time Salary- Chicago, IL (Gold Coast)

Nanny needed for part-time position with FULL-time SALARY. Ideal candidate is fun, patient, loving, understanding, motivated, mature, positive and organized nanny who understands a single parent's busy and unpredictable schedule. Family has two school-aged boys and is looking for an engaging Nanny who will play catch, go to the park, etc. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 2pm to 8:00pm or 9:00pm except school holidays and vacation, when flexibility is requested; Nanny will also cover overnights at house about 3-4 days a month. Safe driving record is a must; car will be provided. Position located in the Gold Coast area. 

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Grocery shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Shuttling kids to school and activities 
  • Occasionally take kids to doctor and dentist appointments
  • Hosting and organizing play dates
  • Keep track of house supplies, food, pet food
  • Take car for wash
  • Homework help
  • Garbage out Tuesday afternoon/evening for Wednesday pickup
  • Be at house for repair/maintenance appointments; supervise workmen in house
  • Change out cat litter weekly
  • Clean dog run daily
  • Check packages at gate house daily

Prominent financial services firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Financial Reporting Backstop Analyst for a full-time, temporary project for 5-6-months. 

Job Description

  1. Backstop conversion
    1. Lead day-to-day effort to convert our data from Excel to a new reporting software package, called Backstop
    2. Populate templates for porting of data
    3. Manage quality control and testing of converted data 
  1. Reporting:
    1. Responsible for developing and maintaining periodic reports that analyze:
                                             i.     Performance attribution
                                             ii.     Fund and portfolio-level exposures

  1. Performance
    1. Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly performance for individual entity investments
  1. Documentation
    1. Preparation of fund subscription, redemption, anti-money laundering documentation
    2. Manage the processes of filing tracking changes
    3. Preparation of governance-related Investment Committee documentation

  1. Capital calls
    1. Processing of both foundation and taxable private equity capital calls and distributions
    2. Track private equity and real estate distributions
Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Numerically oriented
  • Detail oriented
  • Two-plus years work experience (internship experience will be considered)

Full-Time Live-Out Nanny Needed- Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park)

Seeking an energetic and loving full-time Nanny for a sweet family of 4 in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). Nanny is mainly responsible for the care of two children, ages 4 and 2 years old, but family asks for occasional help with running errands, etc. Family is looking for a Nanny who is passionate about working with children, has an interest in child development, and has a professional yet friendly demeanor. 

Schedule guarantees a minimum of 35 hours per week and will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11am-8pm and Fridays from 1pm-8pm. Nanny is also needed for occasional overnights when parents are traveling and/or to travel with the family 2-3 times per year on vacation. 

Family is looking for someone to grow with them long-term. Applicants must speak great English, have a valid driver's license, and ideally have own car but this is not required. Executive Assistant to Founding Partner- Chicago, IL (Near North Side)

Executive Assistant needed to support one of the founding partners of prominent finance firm on Chicago’s near north side.

Responsibilities:

    handle heavy calendar management
    screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests
    coordination of meetings and conference calls
    welcoming and looking after visitors
    book high volume of travel arrangements (commercial and private)
    prepare and process invoices, travel and expense reports
    light bookkeeping for family office
    monitor, organize and submit invoices / payables to accounting in a timely manner
    devising and maintaining office systems to deal efficiently with paper flow
    producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations as needed
assist with developing and crafting PowerPoint presentations as needed
