Private Foundation in Chicago, IL (River North) is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to join their team and support the President. Duties and responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
- Daily office needs--phone and email correspondence, filing, calendar scheduling and maintenance, and sorting mail
- Account management (office supplies/machines/vendors/payables/etc.)
- Identify and research prospective grantees
- Draft documents, correspondence, presentations, and other materials for meetings
- Communicate with grantees seeking information about Foundation and general grant making requests
- Maintain and update filing and online systems
- Prepare and submit expense reports
- Conduct research on issues and organizations relevant to the Foundation
Applicants must possess the following to be considered:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (non-profit experience preferred but not required)
- A college degree
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
