Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper needed for a sweet family of four in Chicago. Family has two children (ages 14 and 11) and parents both work full-time. Schedule is Monday-Friday, from roughly 7:15am-6pm although family requests flexibility for occasional weekends or evenings. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to stay with an employer for years to come, as this family has a long-term track record of keeping staff (10+ years).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-provide care and transportation for the children
-pet care for family dog
-care and upkeep of the household (i.e. tidying, dishes, general upkeep)
-children's laundry
-meal preparation and cooking
-running errands and grocery shopping
-maintain household inventory and supplies; restock when needed
Ideal candidate is proactive, loving, reliable, dependable, easygoing, versatile and proactive. Family is looking for someone who can evolve as their needs change, and a team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed. Applicants must drive, maintain a clean driving record, and have his/her own reliable vehicle. Salary is $36,000/year plus overtime and bonuses 3x/year.
