Private family in north shore suburbs of Chicago seeking a full-time live-out nanny to join their fully staffed household asap.
Responsibilities:
Primary care for triplet 9 yr olds and
secondary care for 11 and 7 yr old.
Work with existing team of nannies.
Driving children to and from school,
appointments and activities.
Provide constant communication with
parents and HM on a daily basis through daily activity sheets and phone calls.
Perform necessary housekeeping to
maintain children’s areas to household standard.
Perform necessary
laundry/purchasing to maintain
children’s clothing/closets to household standard.
Perform necessary pet care.
Hours: 7 AM-7 PM four days per
week. One weekend off per month.
Compensation- $22 per hour gross before taxes
Vacation/Holidays- 200 hours paid time
off to be used as vacation, holiday and/or sick time.
Attributes:
Nurture physical, emotional, intellectual and
social development of the children.
Comply as closely as possible with family’s
preferences regarding child rearing and discipline.
Tend to children’s personal hygiene, health,
welfare and physical safety.
Be flexible regarding emergencies and
unexpected changes in the family’s schedule
Maintain a daily log and/or daily
communication with family concerning the children.
Be responsible, reliable and punctual at the
start of the day and for appointments and activities.
Have efficient time management of child care
tasks and all other related duties.
Promote feelings of security and warmth by
enjoying daily cuddle, read, and talk time.
Read/review any pertinent literature provided
by employer in order to promote broader knowledge of child rearing philosophy,
education, and child psychology.
Actively participate in understanding
each child’s special problems and interests. Provide solutions to the former
and enhance latter.
Be supportive of the parent-child
relationship.
Ability to travel domestically and
internationally for up to 10 weeks per year.
Longest trip 3 consecutive weeks.
Maintain a high level of service and
attention to detail.
Qualifications:
3 years nanny or governess experience
BA/BS
Clean driving record
Ability to pass background check
