Private family in the Chicago area is looking for a part-time personal assistant to join their home. Family currently has a nanny and housekeeper, but needs another set of hands to help in the home. Duties include coordinating home repair and service needs, maintaining personal calendars, travel planning, budgeting and bill paying, grocery shopping/meal planning/cooking, weekly errands, occasional childcare as needed, filing and faxing, household organization, and dog care (walking, feeding, trips to the vet, etc.) Family has two children, ages 1 and 4, and two medium size dogs. The candidate will be responsible for both mundane and higher level tasks.
Overall the family is looking for an extra set of hands in the home so that they can spend more time together as a family! Personal assistant must have a valid drivers license and be child and dog friendly. Ideal candidate is flexible, able to prioritize important tasks, a multi-tasker, friendly, and a self-starter. PA should be motivated to assist both with things that are directly asked of them as well as take initiative and help out wherever and whenever needed. Knowledge of fashion and interior decorating is a plus.
Schedule is 6-10 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours if mutually agreed upon. Salary is $15-20/hour DOE. Start date is flexible for the right candidate. If interested, please email resume and cover letter to info@alteregoconcierge.com.
