Busy Glenview couple is looking for a full time nanny to join their family. They have a 12 week old daughter and the position start date is May 1. Family is planning on having multiple children in the future, therefore this is a long term commitment position of ideally 5+ years. Position will begin in Chicago home, but will soon be strictly at Glenview home only so candidate must be willing to travel. The responsibilities include driving children to and from school, activities, and playdates with friends and other family members, cooking for the children, light housekeeping such as baby laundry, supplementing education in the home, and ability to stay overnight when needed. Ideal candidate is college educated, active yet nurturing at the same time, and has good communication skills. There is no travel required right away although in the future that may change over weekends and on family vacations if needed.
Candidate must be legal to work in the United States, have a valid drivers license, and be able to swim. You must have at least 3+ years of private household experience in a similar position with verifiable references. Rough schedule is Monday-Friday 730-530, but family is looking for someone who is flexible for evenings and weekends when needed. Salary is DOE.
