Gold Coast couple is looking for a top-notch Estate Manager to oversee their Chicago home. Couple also has three other homes, though the responsibilities pertain solely to the Gold Coast property.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
-Responsible for daily operations on property
-Hiring and overseeing household staff
-Handling errands and purchasing
-Overseeing vendors, contractors, and act as a liaison on site
-Completing home organization projects
-Assisting with events, projects, etc.
-Providing continuity between employer's other homes
-Scheduling routine maintenance at residences
Ideal candidate will have a keen eye to detail, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to anticipate an employer's needs in advance. Candidates must be honest, professional, flexible, down-to-earth, and prioritize confidentiality and discretion. Candidates must be cat-friendly, able to drive, and be willing to travel. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm but candidate must be on-call to ensure the property runs smoothly at all times. ALL applicants must have 5+years experience as an Estate Manager and be currently living in the Chicago area. Start date is late August.
