Daily responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
-Responsible for daily operations on property
-Assisting with light housekeeping
-Hiring and overseeing temporary household staff when family is in residence or entertaining
-Handling errands and purchasing
-Assistance with events, projects, etc.
-Providing continuity between employer's other homes
-Scheduling routine maintenance at residences
-Occasional assistance with high-school aged child
-Assistance with driving, on occasion and as requested
Ideal candidate will have a keen eye to detail, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to anticipate an employer's needs in advance. Candidates must be honest, professional, flexible, and prioritize confidentiality and discretion. Candidates must be able to drive and be willing to travel. Schedule is 40-45 hours/week but candidate must be on-call to ensure the property runs smoothly at all times. ALL applicants must have 5+ years experience as an Estate Manager and be currently living in the Chicago area. Salary is $70-100,000 DOE plus health insurance.
