Busy working parents in Chicago (Gold Coast) are seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Home Assistant ASAP. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, hard-working, highly organized with attention to detail, reliable and child-friendly (2 year old and infant) with great attitude to help keep household clean, organized and running smoothly. Parents would love a candidate who is happy to and comfortable with jumping in anywhere he/she is needed.
Duties include:
• Cleaning and organizing the home
• Laundry
• Family errands such as grocery shopping, cleaning supplies, stocking inventory, etc.
• Scheduling routine home maintenance and repairs
• Assisting full-time nanny with children as needed (e.g. morning routine, staying home with one child while nanny takes other to classes, etc.)
Family is looking to hire immediately. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 11:30am, but hours can be slightly flexible (ie: 7am-12pm, etc). Candidate must have own car and be able to drive, is fluent in English, and has prior experience as a housekeeper/home assistant in a private home. Compensation DOE.
