Full Time House Manager Needed- Chicago, IL

Private employer in Chicago's Gold Coast area seeking a highly experienced, trained House Manager to oversee large formal estate. Duties include overall residential maintenance in addition to:


Hands on servicing and repairs
Organizing events and parties
40-50% cooking

Overseeing the household staff including scheduling, training, conflict resolution, etc

Managing household inventory

Providing continuity between employer's other homes

Security for employer and extended family 

Assisting with scheduling routine maintenance at residences

Driving employer to and from appointments 

Must be:

Ready to assist in a pinch

An excellent cook, ideally with a culinary background

Very knowledgeable about formal and informal entertaining protocol

A confident, calm, hard-working, diligent professional looking for a long-term commitment

Willing to travel to employer's other residences

Schedule is Monday-Friday, roughly 11-7, live out with flexibility required for weekend events and entertaining. Ideal candidate has very long-term references (no job hopping!) and formal training at a school would be preferred. Salary is $65-100K, DOE, plus full benefits package. Start is immediate.
