Retired elderly woman in Winnetka seeking a part-time Household Assistant to join her fully staffed home for an on-call position. Assistant will be guaranteed 80 per month, which must be flexible to fill in when full-time staff requests time off, are out sick, etc. Shifts will be a minimum of 3 hours and Assistant will be notified as far in advance when needed to work. Duties include meal preparation, errands, and just overall companionship to woman. Ideal candidate is college educated, loves to read and discuss current events, has 3+ years of experience working as an elder companion, can be available for a flexible schedule and often at a moment's notice, and lives within 15 miles of Winnetka. Start date is flexible but ideally in August.
