Private Family in the Lakeview area is looking for a Executive Housekeeper/Home Assistant to join their staff. Family already has a full time nanny/housekeeper in the mornings, so this position will be from 12pm-8pm, Monday-Friday. Candidate must be flexible for occasional evening and weekend help as needed. Schedule could change to 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day as well, so candidate must be flexible and able to help as needed. Family has three children ages 4, 2, and a baby, therefore the candidate must be extremely child friendly.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Organization (home, closet, etc)
Care for fine furniture, antiques, and fabrics
Laundry and Ironing
Running Errands
Occasional childcare
Cooking (this is preferred but not a deal breaker)
Event planning and management
Vendor management (this will be less frequent but family still needs someone comfortable dealing with outside vendors if needed)
Overall the candidate must have at least 5+ years of private household experience in a similar role with verifiable long term references. The candidate must be legal to work in the United States, and have a valid drivers license as well. This position would be a good fit for someone looking to make a commitment of at least 4+ years with a family and who is a hard and pro-active worker, but who can also feel comfortable around children. Candidate must be efficient, extremely organized, and able to work with a family whose needs are constantly changing.
