French Speaking Nanny Needed- Chicago, IL

Active and busy family in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago is looking for a full time live in OR live out nanny for their family.  Family has two young children, and plans on having more children in the near future, so nanny must have infant experience and be comfortable taking care of multiple children at once.  Both younger children speak fluent French so nanny must speak French.  This is a position for someone looking to make a long term commitment with a wonderful family!

Candidate must be legal to work in the United States, have at least 4+ years of previous nanny experience, have a valid drivers license and passport, and be able to swim.  Candidate must also be looking for a long term position and have wonderful references from previous families.  The duties of this position include overall care for the children, cooking for the children, cooking for the entire family two times per week, household chores and cleaning as needed, running errands, and driving the children to and from various extra curricular activities.  Homework help is also a must, and candidate must love spending time teaching and learning with the children!  This position also requires moderate travel, at least 3-5 paid family vacations per year.  

The ideal candidate has a hands on approach to living and working in someone's home, and is a true team player.  Nanny must be friendly, knowledgeable, patient, caring, extremely responsible, and able to multitask.  Separate living space is provided if applicable, as well as cell phone.  Flexibility is also key, and nanny must be willing to work one week night per week.  Salary is $15-$17/hour, DOE.  Email your resume to olivia@alteregoconcierge.com to apply or for more details.
