Live In Nanny Needed- Washington, DC

Professional family seeking a highly experienced, true career nanny to join their family ASAP. Family has a ten month old daughter and may be expecting another child in the near future.  Schedule is 8-10 hours per day, live-in, with most weekends and evenings off.  Occasional date nights and weekend events may be needed so nanny must be flexible and open to helping whenever needed.  Ideal nanny has worked in a similar position and has lived in for a minimum of 2-5 years.  A long term commitment is also a requirement of this position. 


Duties include transportation to/from activities, overall care for daughter, and light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation related to the daughter.  Also, willingness to help with running errands and organization in the home is a plus.  Ideal candidate is great with communicating to parents regarding any needs/issues within the home,  has infant experience, and can help with typical growth and development issues.  Ideally nanny should have their drivers license and own car, but option of using the family car is available if needed.  Nanny must speak English, but a second language is also preferred. Nanny should be a positive, mature, outgoing, creative, and energetic personality who is willing to help foster their daughters growth and learning.    

Compensation is $16-20/hour gross.  Separate space for living is provided and includes a bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom.  Nanny can live-in on days off.
