Private couple in Washington DC seeking a junior/second personal and household assistant to join their staff. This is still an entry-level position, perfect for someone with 1-2 years experience but who would still love to train under a senior House Manager.
Duties include office work, calendar coordination and maintenance, travel arrangement, errands, car upkeep, and general day-to-day needs. Ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, is a self-starter who needs little direction, and can work quickly and efficiently to get things done. This position requires the ability to multi-task and work well alongside other staff. Candidate should be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9-5 or 10-6. Weekend availability is rare, if ever. Family has no children but one small dog. Position is interviewing ASAP but start date is January 2, 2012. Employer will hire sooner for the right candidate. MUST be based in the Washington DC Area- no exceptions! Salary $42-50K, DOE.
