Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant needed for family with 3 school-aged children in Lake Forest, IL. Schedule will be Monday-Friday from 3pm-8pm, but hours may be flexible and/or increase for the right candidate. Family is looking for a wonderful Nanny to commit long-term and may be open to transitioning this role to a full-time position or live-in if it’s a great fit for both parties. Duties include childcare, homework help, driving to activities, assisting with light cooking and occasional housekeeping, and general house management duties.

Nanny must be pet-friendly (family has one dog) and have a valid driver’s license (and ideally his/her own vehicle). Experienced Bookkeeper Needed for Upscale Retail Store- Near North Suburbs of Chicago

Experienced Bookkeeper needed for an upscale retail store in near north suburbs of Chicago. Ideal candidate has strong computer, interpersonal, and customer service skills and can work well autonomously. Duties include but are not limited to:

Managing online payroll (outsourced through a service) and taxes

Reviewing and submitting invoices, accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, etc.

Corresponding with vendors and contractors

Handling new hire paperwork, benefits, etc.

Overseeing cash flow and analyzing store data for projections, etc.

Maintaining Quickbooks and categorizing expenses

Other back office tasks as requested

Position can be part-time or full-time depending on the applicant/level of experience. If part-time, the schedule would likely be Monday/Wednesday/Friday but may be flexible. Salary is DOE and competitive.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, be highly proficient with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite programs, and excellent, verifiable references. Professional Housekeeper Needed- Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park)

Professional Housekeeper needed for private family in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). This position requires only part-time hours but the salary is equivalent to a full-time position—great opportunity!  Schedule will be 3 days per week every week, as well as two weekends per month. Duties include but not limited to:

• Work alongside full-time Housekeeper to ensure home is impeccably maintained, cleaned, and organized.
• Wash laundry/fold/put away clothes and organize closets/drawers
• Make beds and wash linens/towels
• Sweep and wash floors
• Clean bathrooms and showers
• Dust furniture/shutters
• Maintain kitchen (wiping down counters, unloading dishwasher, cleaning refrigerator, etc.)
• Prepare snacks and meals
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping and dry cleaning
• Arrange fresh flowers and care for arrangements in the home
• Seasonal organizing and cleaning projects

Part-time Family Assistant needed for working parents and two teenage children in Chicago, IL (Gold Coast). Family is looking to commit to 20 hours per week (ideally Monday-Friday from 3 or 3:30-7 or 7:30) but they are open to increasing the hours for the right person. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Picking up from school and driving to activities as needed
• Assisting with homework
• Making light meals, snacks, and assisting with dinner prep
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• House management duties as needed, such as scheduling and managing vendor appointments and repairs

Family is looking for a responsible, reliable Assistant who has a great attitude and is flexible as needed. Ideal candidate is flexible to stay overnight on occasion when parents are traveling (likely 1 night per month). Spanish speaking is a big plus (to assist with homework) but not a requirement.
