Full Time Housekeeper Needed- Chicago, IL

Prominent Chicago philanthropist seeking a full-time housekeeper to join her fully staffed household. Duties include all household cleaning, laundry, ironing, assist with grocery shopping, and cooking. Must speak good English, and preferably Spanish as well to communicate with other staff members. The ideal candidate will be honest, patient, reliable, a good communicator, and have excellent organizational skills. Housekeeper should be able to multi task and have experience working in a formal household around other staff members. 

Schedule is 8-4, Monday-Friday live-out. Flexibility for occasional evening dinner parties is a plus. Housekeeper should drive and ideally have own vehicle. Salary is $42-55,000/year DOE, plus 2 weeks paid vacation and all major holidays. Start is flexible but preferably ASAP.

Full Time Nanny Needed- Chicago, IL

Full time nanny needed for Andersonville nanny share, caring for one newborn and a toddler. Parents work full-time in science/education, and are looking for a kind, trustworthy nanny who is able to commit for the long-term and become a part of their family. Ideal nanny is loving, warm, safety-oriented, CPR certified, and actively involved with educational growth for children. Nanny should be outgoing, knowledgable about child activities in the area as well as classes, and have great long-term references (infant experience preferred).

Part Time Houseman- Highland Park, IL

Private client in Highland Park, IL seeking a part-time houseman to join his team, acting as an assistant to his estate manager. Houseman will be responsible for assisting with outdoor maintenance of the entire property, as well as indoor projects by request. Duties include watering plants, caring for outdoor fountain, maintaining yard between landscaper visits, taking out the trash/recycling, automotive maintenance, pet care, running errands, occasional driving, and general assistance with moving heavy items/etc for the estate manager.


Tentative schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-6, with occasional weekend availability a plus. Days of the week are flexible for the right person. Ideal candidate has 3+ years experience as a houseman/butler, good knowledge of landscaping/garden maintenance, is able to commit for the long-term (minimum of 1 year), has worked in a formal household, is pet-friendly (dog and cat) and speaks VERY good English. Busy working parents with two children (under the age of 3) seeking a professional British live-in nanny to join their home in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. Responsibilities include transporting children to and from activities, playing games, preparing light meals and laundry for the children only, and general care while mother completes her residency and father is working full-time. Ideal candidate is mature, responsible, loving, active, and always on time. Flexibility is ideal, as the parents schedules will be more hectic than usual during the next couple of years. Family has no pets, but the nanny should be dog-friendly. 

Driving is preferred but not a deal breaker, and family can provide the vehicle if necessary. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-8pm, with weekends off. Duties include household organization, serving formal dinners, polishing silver, helping with driving, and other day-to-day needs. Ideal candidate has experience working as a waiter/butler in a formal household or club, has a deep understanding of formal service, and is able to work independently as well as alongside other staff. Candidate should also be pet-friendly. 


This is NOT a full-time position. Schedule will be 3-4 days per week, mainly afternoon/evenings, for a total of 20 hours. Driver's license and clean driving record required.
